Life is kind of a bust if you can't get along with people.
That's really where I'm going with this. Let's get more joy.
Me and mine... My husband and I have seven children, ages 11-30. We've been homeschooling the crew since 1991, no one has ever been to school, and they are all turning out pretty normal.
That's funny. But really, we mostly want to just raise good, functional adults.
In the big scheme of things, homeschooling has taught me that it's really important to get along with your kids. With anybody. Keeping education and housework and activities and relationships simple is they key to living a reasonably joyful life.
We live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. Always have and always will. It's a good life. Beautiful, challenging, bittersweet. And beautiful.
I write, I speak, I challenge and encourage.
I have a few books on amazon, the "Homeschooling, simplified" series, including
writing with children
chocolate chip math
how to read a book so it becomes the curriculum
what matters most AND
great books to study Canadian History
as well as a book for Catholic parents,
